Layout boat

Just bought a layout boat picked it up pretty cheap it loooks to be homemade (needs a little TLC) just wondering if anybody can give me any advice on fiberglassing (never done it before) and what about what kind of paint to repaint it with not sure if it has to be a certian kind. Any and ALL help would be great. I might sound kind of dumb asking these questions but i've never done anything like this before and i just want to do it right. So thanks in advance for any help

West Marine has a repair and maintenance book on fiberglass repair. I would recommend using West Systems epoxy on your repairs.
