STUPID AMERICANS!

If it doesn't have to do with waterfowl hunting or any of the other forums...here is the place to talk about it. Keep it clean and no personal attacks on forum members.

I was watching TV this morning and I though they said the car the police helped to stop had a button to push to start and stop the engine, he said he pushed it and it did nothing. But that's what I thought, turn the key off. Maybe were talking about a different car.

If you turn it off, does that lock up the steering wheel? If so, that ain't good at 90 mph. I would have put it in neutral.

Yeah, the guy said, "he wasn't familiar with that type of transmission and was afraid the car would flip".

How long did he look like he'd been driving? It's not like he was a 15 or 16 year old... dumb, dumb, dumb.

My granddaughter just turned 16. After this story I took her driving in my truck, put it in neutral, it didn't flip, turned the ignition off engine turned off. Simple as that. Now it's a Chevy not a Toyota.

had this happen hauling firewood in an old f-150 a number of years ago. Cut her in neutral and towed her with the other truck back to the shop where we had her fixed in a few minutes. screw had come loose. gotta love the ignorance of some people these days. Its amazing the kind of idiots they let on the road. I had a lady run a stop sign on me the other day and come less than 6 inches from hitting my drivers side door and then she looked at me like i did something wrong. stupid stupid people, i think the dmv needs to make that license test harder.

i wil lsay its an issue that is being fixed and severly needs to be but aas you all have siad, com one really?! its really rather simple. 3 easy steps and your on your way to stopping.
When you have shot one bird flying you have shot all birds flying. They are all different and they fly in different ways but the sensation is the same and the last one is as good as the first. -Ernest Hemmingway
