I was watching TV this morning and I though they said the car the police helped to stop had a button to push to start and stop the engine, he said he pushed it and it did nothing. But that's what I thought, turn the key off. Maybe were talking about a different car.

If you turn it off, does that lock up the steering wheel? If so, that ain't good at 90 mph. I would have put it in neutral.

My granddaughter just turned 16. After this story I took her driving in my truck, put it in neutral, it didn't flip, turned the ignition off engine turned off. Simple as that. Now it's a Chevy not a Toyota.

had this happen hauling firewood in an old f-150 a number of years ago. Cut her in neutral and towed her with the other truck back to the shop where we had her fixed in a few minutes. screw had come loose. gotta love the ignorance of some people these days. Its amazing the kind of idiots they let on the road. I had a lady run a stop sign on me the other day and come less than 6 inches from hitting my drivers side door and then she looked at me like i did something wrong. stupid stupid people, i think the dmv needs to make that license test harder.
