Dang you must of have read my last post. Yes, we do kill buffleheads and mergansers and I dont know about the rest of my fellow NC hunters, but Im proud of it. Killing ducks is not all there is to it. If you believe that killing ducks is all there is to duck hunting, then you just dont understand the sport. I personally like putting out decoys and calling birds. Killing them is just an added bonus. Its bad that a youngster like me understands what waterfowling is really about better than you do. As far as calls go. Do you own a Custom, One Of A Kind Waccamaw Call? I just got one for christmas and I love it. And yes RNT calls are good calls, but I can put money on it that someone has a call exactly like yours. As far as all of my Waccamaw Calls, no one in this World has one exactly like them. AND THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT

YOU run a site about duck hunting. dont get your panties in a wad when someone asks questions about where to go or what's going on at a place. I live in Wilson and if you wanted to know how the crappie biting at Buckhorn I would tell you. I wouldn't tell you to get in the truck and drive here. You dont seem to run a friendly site. Not mention the BS going on with that kid that was in F&S.

I haven't been a member long, and have been put in my place, but if you read and listen there is valuable information to be learned. I have been to several forums but none as inciteful and entertaining as this. I dont think the guys on here take the cyberscouting this too far at all. I dont post on here much but I know a lot of the guys who do and I can tell you for a fact that a lot of them spend just as much time scouting than they do hunting, if not more. Why? Because they arent hunting just to say they are hunting. There is a great pride in finding the birds yourself and having a plan come together. Like was said earlier, its not always about the kill. If you have an enjoyable morning in the blind, watching birds, etc it can be just as rewarding as shooting a few birds. I will be the first to tell you I love the kill but I also take pleasure in the entire aspect of the sport.

The reason everyone is so tight on cyber scouting it because just as soon as word gets out about birds in a certain area the enjoyable aspect of the hunt just decreases tremendously. Here, in this part of the state, every jackleg with a computer will be there in any boat they can find, setting up beside anyone they can find, shooting at every bird they see. So now, even guys who throughly enjoy the sport can't possibly enjoy the hunt because every where they turn is someone else doing something stupid. There are very few people I tell when I find ducks, and that group has been cut down over time my trial and error.

So when guys are on here and they wont give up information its not because they want to go out there and kill every bird for themselves it because whether they kill anything or not they want to enjoy doing it............

Had a 2 good friends hunt Black Rock this past Monday, and all they shot were Mergs...saw a couple of ducks off in the distance, but nothing to talk about.

I dont know who told the asshat from SC there were ducks at Black Rock. I've hunted there twice this year and we had 2 skunks there. The ducks have moved away from there. I talked to some one that told me that an outfitter from Ahoskie and a guy from Greensboro were there shooting the other day. He talked to the guy from GSO and asked where he had heard about this place and he said on this thread. I'm here to tell you
